 | The 17th Annual Lewis County Aids Walk will be held on Saturday, September 6th, starting at Noon at the Penny Playground, located at 221 SW 13th Street, in Chehalis.  | Prosecuting Attorney Michael Golden and the peoople of the Lewis County Prosecutor's Office are offering a Law and Justice Academy. This is an opportunity for citizens of Lewis County to learn how the justice system works. Classes will be held in the Historic Court House on Wednesday nights, from 6-8; starting September 17th. Registration is limited to 25 students, 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions. Applications may be picked up at the Criminal Justice Center or call 740-1240. |

Residents of Eastern Lewis County are encouraged to take part in the one-day, free event. Only leaves, grass clippings, branches and weeds will be accepted. |
