Mossyrock Blueberry festival

It's the Mossyrock Blueberry Festival this weekend! Friday and Saturday, enjoy tons of fun in Mossyrock - the blueberry pie eating contest, tons of delicious foods, fun games, vendors, live music, a kid’s obstacle course, and a kid’s fishing derby. Onalaska Volunteer Firefighter Association's 4th Annual Car Show

The Onalaska Volunteer Firefighter Association's 4th Annual Car Show is being held on Saturday, August 9th from 9AM to 3PM at the main fire station, 1733 State Hwy 508, in Onalaska. The gates open & breakfast is served at 7AM (Biscuits & Gravy)! Lunch will be at 11:30 (Polish dogs or Burgers). There will be drawings & prizes, and custom trophies presented at 2PM! This years program will be held at two locations: Centralia High Scholl beginning Tuesday, June 17th until Thursday, July 3rd from Monday through Friday and Fords Prairie Elementary beginning July 7th until July 17th, Monday through Thursday. The program is free for children 18 years old and under. For more information contact the Centralia School District Food Service Director.

Memorial Day Celebration - Veterans Memorial Museum

The Veterans Memorial Museum invites you to its Memorial Day Celebration May 26th. The day begins with a 5k run with registration at 9AM, and the race begins at 10AM. A ceremony will also be held at Claquato Cemetery at 10:30AM. Then at 2PM that afternoon, a reading of names tree of life ceremony takes place at the Veterans Memorial Museum. Plus, it’s a free day to tour the museum on Memorial Day.

The American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life of Lewis County” is a volunteer-led experience that unites communities in celebrating cancer survivors, remembering loved ones lost to cancer, and raises funds to improve the lives of those with cancer and their families. Relay for Life of Lewis County is on Saturday, May 17th at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds in Centralia. This is a free event for all to attend! If you are interested in signing up a team and fundraising for the event, or need more information call 360 – 827 – 2312.
