The Sacajawea Chapter of the Daughters of the American revolution in partnership with the City of Tumwater and George Rogers Clark SAR, at the Union Pioneer Calvary Cemetery located in Tumwater next to Mills and Mills Cemetery will present histories on eight original Tumwater Founders buried in the cemetery. Talking Headstones will take place at 5700 Littlerock Road, Tumwater, WA 98501. It is recommended that you access the cemetery by parking at the south end of Mills and Mills and walking through the Littlerock Road streetside opening in the cemetery fence.
There will be eight rotating historic presentations given by the local Sacajawea Chapter - Daughters of the Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution about the following founders buried in Union Pioneer Calvary Cemetery: Charles Mason & Thomas Frost, Jesse Ferguson, Sara Lang, Bordeaux Family, Harvey Cameron, Charles Judson, Newton Tice, and George and Isabella Bush. Any members of the public attending who are descendants of founders buried in the cemetery will be acknowledged.
